Regulatory

The regulatory program provides the interface between the Tri-City Service District (TCSD) operating programs and State and Federal regulators. This includes anticipating and assessing the impact of potential changes in water quality regulations, assessing trends in the industry response to the existing regulatory environment, coordinating lobbying efforts on proposed environmental legislation, negotiating discharge permits, managing the District’s environmental management system (EMS) and working with other regional service providers where it makes good economic sense to pursue regional approaches to compliance.
